Triangle Trading Post wants the store to sound local, not generic. If you make original music, this page explains how your work can be heard in the shop and how merch can fit into the store environment.
A local music program
Get your music into the room, not just onto a link
We use the store as a place to introduce shoppers to musicians from Starkville and the surrounding area while creating another pathway for local artists to be seen and heard.
Why this matters for musicians
Exposure
Your music becomes part of the store experience
Customers hear local music while they browse, which creates a different kind of discovery than a normal online post.
Merch
Selected artists can also sell merchandise
When the fit is right, musicians can pair in-store play with products or merch in the physical shop.
Support
Better split than standard merch
Featured musicians are eligible for a 70/30 commission split, with the artist keeping 70% and the store keeping 30%.

If you want to submit music, send original work that represents you well. If you want to ask about merch before submitting, use the form and say so in the notes.
